Sent to Health Experts September 14, 2007 11:56 p.m.

Are there any gynecologist's or doctors that can answer this question. I am 26 years old and I am a virgin. I never used a tampoon and I am not on any kind of birth control. I was thinking about having anal sex w/my boyfriend. I do not want to get pregnant. If I put spermicide on my boyfriend's penis, then slip a spermicide condom on the penis and also put spermicide on the outside portions of my body such as legs outer vaginal and around, could I get pregnant, let's say if my boyfriend pulled out and the condom broke and there was semen around the outer portion of my vaginal or leg. Would the spermicide that I put around inner thigh and outer part of the vaginal protect me from getting pregnant, if I can't afford the pill?

In my opinion if there is sufficient spermicide in the vagina then there are less likely .When combined with other barrier methods like condom etc the combined failure rate is between 3% - 10% .
