my son is 3 years old and he was gonna have some

my son is 3 years old and he was gonna have some dental work done, the dentist said she wanted to put him to sleep for it.. so i took him to the hospital for all this. well it turned out they gave him 2.5 doses of virset and one dose of phentinal then they took him into the O.R. and when they got him to sleep he quit breathing. the anastisialigist said he thought it was an athsma attack but im not so sure, i was wondering if it could have been all the medicine? could you give me a clue. i do have him going to a specialist in june but im just boggled by this. im just thank god he is ok now.. please help me with a piece of mind.. thanx jennifer
