PERSONAL:
Male, 65 1/2 years old, 5'10 1/2". 153 lbs. Smoked for 45 years. Gained 45 lbs since I stopped smoking one year ago. Breathing test: I inhale 85% of my capacity and only exhale 54%. Both BP and Chrores' are normal with medications listed. My pulmonologist told me that I have light Emphysema and a touch of Asthma. About one year ago I started getting very short of breath. Cramps started about four months ago and are getting worse each week. Per my primary doctor, everything on my blood test two weeks ago was normal and within the ranges desired.
PROBLEM:
Have very painful cramps: upper and lower of both front sides and also back, neck, shoulder blade area, arms and feet. May cramp in one place or several at a time. Last from 30 sec to 20 min. Will cramp anytime: sitting in chair, in bed, doing yard work, or driving. About 15-20 times a day.
PRESCRIPTIONS: [one each daily except take two Vospire daily]
Tricor 145 MG, Vytorin 10/20, Atacand HCT 16/12.5, Vospire 4 MG, Singular 10 MG, Spriva Handihaler 18 MEG, Advair 250/50, Duoneb Inhalation 3 ML, Ecotrin 81 MG. NON PRESCRIPTIONS ITEMS TAKEN: [one each daily]
Centrum A-Zink vitamin silver, Garlic 650 MG, Milk Thistle 1000 MG
QUESTION:
What is causing and why am I having these very painul cramps? I have tried taking very deep breaths, streching, and moving my body in all different positions to try and releive the painful cramps without any releif of any kind.
