my dr gave me a new pill it seems i have to take double ...

my dr gave me a new pill it seems i have to take double more then what it calls for just to hide the pain of my lower back. how can i get my tolorace low again so i can be on a normal dose of pain pills with out taken two when i shoule be on one ?

i been on them for about 4 yrs been on ty 4 to vicoden 750 es. but it seems that im on the new oxydone 10/325 and it dont touch the pain i have to take them like ever 4 to 3 hrs and the dr has them on there three times a day ? is my tolorance to high? i have had the L 5 removed it went into my spinal cord have nerve damage in the left leg and bladder and bowel damage also L4 surg did a lammy shaved it and now i have three to 4 disk putting pressure on some nerves . but they cant do surg my back bone wont hold a fuse and its in the shape of a 80yr old ladie that never got out of bed her whole life, have anglitis spindolitis if that is how you spell it lol (bambo of the spine) how can i get my body down to where the one paim pill will or should i say the 3 a day will work in my body ? like dont take them for a week if i can and drink green tea anything like that work ?
