Hello my dad has bipolar disorder and was hospitalized a few months ago. At this time they thought he may have dementia so started to treat him for it with arcept not sure on spelling and rispadol. Now he went to a neourolagist and he says my dad does not have dementia. The doctor took him off everything but his lithium and my dad has had many side effects like sleeping all the time and losing weight not wanting to eat. Is or are these symptoms normal?
