Question

birth control

Sent to Health Experts February 02, 2006 7:25 p.m.

I have heard that birth control changes your body in two ways: 1) Prevents ovulation from occurrring and 2)Thickens the cervical lining. My question is, I feel very strongly about taking something that will let the egg and sperm unite, but then my body will be hostile to the fertilized egg. What types of birth control are not hostile to a fertilized egg in the event that the birth control is not effective?
