I have been on birth control for 5 months now and everything was fine. I had light periods and light cramping. This time in the middle of taking my pills, with a week and a half left of them, I started my period. Not a normal period. Heavy, heavy bleeding with severe abdominal pain and a discharge mixed in. I'm worried about this b/c this has never happened. What could it be??
