Menstration & PMS

I suffer from what I think is EXTREME PMS. Around my monthly I get EXTREMELY irritable, and attempt to rip off my families head, scream for a divorce and beg for my own death. I go through this EVERY MONTH without exception!! After all is said and done and I'm into probably my third or fourth day of menstration I'm fine. It's just that my family, and I too ,am tired of living with this lunatic that emerges every month!! Is there anything to curb my attitude, behavior and extreme RAGE around this time????

Hi

Difficult problem.

Are you able to take the combined contraceptive pill.

If so you can run 3 packets together ( perfectly safe) and cut your episodes of PMS from 12 to 4 per year.

It's not a cure but helps some people.

Fluoxetine is also very very effective.

I would prefer not to take birth control, I have break through bleeding and can bleed and or spot for the month, every month, birth control also makes the refrigerator my friend (makes me fat) and they also make me a raging lunatic. Fluoxetine. Isn't that for depression? The web site you included is interesting.
