Menstrual Irregularity

My period was irregular for like 2-3 years after I stopped taking the birth control shot depo. My period during this time was like once every 6 months give or take every now and then. Just here recently I've been having my period every 26 days and its heavy. What can cause a period to change so rapidly. Also, I've been tring to get pregnat and I can't seem to get pregnat. Could my period change cause me not to get pregnat?

Since when have you tried to get prgnant? Have you consulted anyone? Are you trying anything to help you get pregnant?
