I took my birth contorl pill out of the pack today but I can't remember if I took it. Will taking another pill from one of my other birth control packs hurt if I have already taken one today?

Hi Customer (name blocked for privacy)-

You're certainly not the first woman to do this. To be safe you should go ahead and take another pill - you will end up one pill "short" at the end of the month, but this is fine. Just remember to start your new pack at the normal time. You may end up having an extra day of your period but that is all.

If you decide not to take the extra pill, be sure to use a back-up method (such as a condom or a diaphragm).

If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

Sincerely,
Emily
