I got my period a week early, and my blood is a black almost green color. I also am itchy. Should I be concerned?

Hello,

Are you using birth control pills or morning after pills from time to time? They are known to cause some brown spotting. How old are you, by the way?

If you haven’t seen a gynecologist, then you definitely should. Good luck!

Hello,

Have you noticed any unusually smell coming out of your vagina? If so please describe the smell? Is it as fishy kind of odor?

It might be a bacteria or fungal infection but I would need to know if there is a smell associated with it.

Hello,

It could be an infection. The most common cause is vaginal bacterial overgrowth known as bacterial vaginosis, which has a "fishy" or "musty" smell.

"Fishy" smells can also result from vaginal infections, such as trichomonas vaginalis. The vagina could also smell "yeasty" because of vaginal yeast overgrowths - yeast infection

In about 25% of women, BV symptoms resolve on their own. you can use lactobacillus (as in yogurt) to help restore the balance of vaginal bacteria, either along with or instead of antibiotic treatment

If it isn't that and it doesn't clear up quickly, you need to see a gynecologist.
