I live in AZ. My daughter who is 27 works part time and is a part time college student. She has gastritis and a hiatal hernia. She is on Nexium 1 x per day and takes birth control. She currently has individual health insurance and is being charged a 50% rate up due to her conditions. Her monthly premium is $192. Her out of pocket cost yearly is $1500. Where can she get affordable individual health insurance, as this premium is just to expensive. Thank you.

One suggestion - she may be eligible for one of the patient assitance programs

If she is not eligible for the program for Nexium, there are other related drugs her doctor could switch her to such as Prevacid, Protonix, Prilosec, Aciphex
