what can i do to get my period back? i want to get pregnant.

im 21 and i dont have a period anymore after i stopped taking birth control. how can i start it back. my doctor said i had low hormones.

can i buy phytohormone over the counter?
the doctor done all kinds of blood work and he said everything was normal, but low hormones. if i take provera it starts. he told me to take one pill for tens days but i have to take one or two. so you do think my period will start back on its own?
