I took a birth control package a month after the package had expired. It expired March 07 and I started it on April 07. I took it to save some money for the month instead of using my new package....I really can't get a straight answer of if these pills will still work or not. I am realizing now that I should not have taken the risk but, what I am wondering now are the specifics....does it start lowering it's potency after the expiration date by a whole lot or just a little as time passes by. Of course I know that using back up would completely protect me but that is not my question. My question relates to how the chemical make-up of the pills work. That's all. Thank you.
Sincerely,
misunderstood user
