I think that this bleeding is associated with you going off of the pill and restarting a month later. It is very common to have breakthrough bleeding on BC pills, especially in the beginning and for you, since you took a month long break it is like you are starting them for the first time. I would not be concerned that this bleeding is at all related to a possibility of pregnancy, although you could always take a home pregnancy test to ease your mind. This irregular bleeding should subside within a few cycles on the pill. If it continues or is bothersome I would discuss other BC options with your health care provider.
