My question is I have a friend who had an artificial insemination procedure done for a couple that could not have children. They took the wifes egg and the husbands sperm and implated it into my friend . She got pregnant and had the baby boy. Now my first question is how long would this women have to be off of birth control to have this procedure done? My second question is if my friend had unprotected sexual intercource just 1 week before this procedure was done what would be the odds that this man could actually be the father of this baby and not the one that had his sperm injected into her? I would appreciate any help thank you.
