I am 22, 6'2" and weigh 227 lbs. I am physically active I work out at least 30 minutes Monday through Friday. My workout is anywhere from cardio, light weight lifting, and martial arts. My father has high blood pressure, but he is not as physically active as I am. I last checked my blood pressure and I was shocked it was 142/84. I understand that I am overweight, and you may ask how can I be physcially active an be overweight? I love to eat. I have eliminated sodas and fast food from my diet, and over time I have lost 13 pounds when I use to weigh 240. Frankly I am a hypercondriac and I was doing some research and read nothing but horror stories of people with penis disfunction, strokes, and death. I'm only 22, am I going to die that soon? What things can I do to help bring my blood pressure down. I think i'm doing everything right, but obviously I'm not.
