can one take imitrex for a migraine if taking phentermine?

I woke up with a headache but thought it might go away so I went ahead and started taking phentermine 37.5. headache has turned into a migraine and need to know if I can take imitrex now that I took the phentermine?

nothing because only imitrex will get rid of this migraine

take the imitrex in 24 hours and then wait 24 hours after that to take the phentermine again?

In response to your above question, yes. Better to be safe than sorry and I do think this would be the safest response based on the pharmaceutical readings. You can take Excedrin Migraine to help alleviate your symptoms in the interim and maybe that will help a little at least. However, I realize in your earlier post you stated that only Imitrex helps rid the headache completely. Susan
