I am 45yrs. old. For appox. 18 months, I have been suffering with this condition in my legs and feet. My feet feel like I am walking on rocks or cords all the time. My right foot gets very tight and swollen which sends a burning sensation up my right leg. The foot and leg is edematous most of the time. There is some numbness I guess that is what you would call it. Sometimes the leg feels so heavy. The swelling goes up to my right knee which causes me difficulty walking. My left foot isn't as bad and does not cause these unusual sensations in my lleft leg. It does not swell either like the right side does. I have arthritis but not to the point I couldn't do my ADLs. I am a LPN and a RN student with one more semester to finish. I have not been able to work and attend school for the last week. We were about to take exams and I have missed them because I could not walk to class. I had been in much pain but continued to go to school and work PLEASE HELP ME! I have been to orthopaedics and have bought expensive orthotics with no relief.
