The bottoms of my feet hurt with several different types of pain - sometimes it feels like a stabbing in a particular area, sometimes they feel like they are numb yet tingly, I can barely touch them myself they hurt so bad. I do not have diabetes. I do have Fibromyalgia. I currently take high blood pressure and high tri's medication. What can I do to stop my feet with this constant nerve pain? Thank you.

Hello,

This can be contributed to the Fibromyalgia; however, it is most likely due to neuropathy which can also be experienced in patients that are not Diabetic. It is nerve damage.

It would be a a good idea to make an appointment with a podiatrist to make an accurate diagnosis and determine what treatments would be available such as orthotic shoe inserts, etc.

Here is some info, please let me know if you have any further questions.

I would also suggest discussing your medications with your pharmacist to determine if any might cause these symptoms.
