Do you have any yellow or green discharge from your sinus cavaities? And are your headaches worse when you seem more congested?

Have not noticed any different color in discharge.
I am trying to accurately answer your question about the congestion = headache = more or less.

complete answer:
I have had sinus issues for years, typically untreated other than over counter stuff.
last 3 years have had claritin prescribed (before over the counter) now still have script as cheaper than over counter.
Yesterday was a headache, that I considered going to emergency room for (am working out of town, no family dr.) But did not notice I was more congested (however congestion may be just a way of life for me) Today is the first time ever having dizziness, and yes maybe I do feel congested,
if its sinus fine, as long as its not stroke heart whatever. just feels different.
had low blood pressure when young, had great blood pressure unitl maybe 1.5 years ago, now is elevated somewhat, but checked just last week and dr. didnt raise red flag!

The elevation can cause the headaches and the dizziness so this is actually a concern, if you are not seeing a green or yellow discharge from your sinuses then yoou are correct this is not a sinus infection although congestion can cause the headaches and dizziness to be more pronounced. I think you need more constant monitoring of you blood pressure since you are having an elevated reading and having these symptoms. Continue with the allergy and sinus medication, but watch the BC powders as they can cause stomach issues and bounce back headaches as well so only take them sparingly. But do raise concerns over the headaches and dizziness as this can be caused by a high blood pressure or can be related to a neurological problem that dos need further evaluation.
