I think I have taken too much Clonidine...how many mg is too much in a 16 hour period?

I have had .08 mg today.

I toook 2 Tylenol PM's about an hour ago so I am very sleepy but that is normal with the Tylenol.

Just worried about the Clonidine - I thought they Pharmacy gave me .01's and they gave me .02's!

Well this is certainly not a toxic dose. It more depends on how you react to it.

You blood pressure is ok. If you develop dizziness chest pain, nausea, lightheadedness be sure to your blood pressure is not to low. As long as you don't develop symptoms and your blood pressue stays above 85 systolic you should be ok.

I was going to say about the sleepiness this is a very common side effect of the clonidine.

I think you will be just fine. If you develop symptoms though keep your blood presure if it gets below 85 and you have symptoms I would keep a close eye on yourself. I you don't feel comfortable you could go to the ER

I don't think this is going to happen though. I am just telling you as a worst case senorio.
