Doctors think my Mom might have skin lupus, Symtoms: rash all over her body, numbness to face and hands, a few months ago some hair loss, eyeritis (pink eye) mild stroke that only effects her foot. Question is could it be something else and is the numbness a symtom of lupus? she is in her mid 70's and has always been healthy.

I will try to provide you with some info on my Mom,I live in Nj and she is in Arkansas, so I really don't have access to her medical reports. Approx. Weight and hight 5'3" ,165 to 175 lbs. I do not know her blood pressure and sugar level, but in talking with her I beleive it is good.4 or 5 Doctors have taken blood in the last few weeks and she has not mentioned to me any elevated levels. Her medical history is fairly good for her age, she does have colitus and diverticulitus, with no recent flair ups. Each doctor she goes to sends her to another doctor, first they thought shingles, than pityrisis, one even suggested syphillis, last was lupus. She does not itch ,it kind of hurts if she bumps her skin, numb feeling to skin on face and hands. Her Doctors have been primary, eye, dermotoligist. this week she goes to a gastroligist, rhumitoligst. Her eye sight has been getting bad, I believe she has glockcoma, within the last few days the rash has swollon her eyes lids. Before all of this started she did take a few medicnes for colestrol, maby blood pressure and medicine for the colitus. She also for years has taken vitimins. I think now she is on other medicines that the doctors have given her, steriods and I do not know what else. her condition is not getting better, but worse and I am worried about her.
