My Mother is 67 years old. She is 5 foot 8 and weighs 135 lbs, her waist size is 26.5 inches. She does not smoke or use illegal drugs. She does drink wine EVERYDAY. Her alcohol consumption is approximately 8 glasses everyday. She is on Arthrotec 50 mg, 1 pill three times a day for arthritis. Just recently, she got her blood pressure checked and it was systolic 161, diastolic 087, and her pulse rate 060. Please tell me what all of this means about her health. I'd like to help her by informing her.

Does arthrotec cause high blood pressure?

Yes,arthrotec can cause high blood pressure.It can aggrevate the pre existing high blood pressure & also can cause new one.
