I just passed a kidney stone that was 6 mm. I have had kidney stones frequently for the past ten years, but recently I have had a loss of smell and taste. I have high blood pressure as well. I was wondering if these are symptoms of diabetes? I am only 31 yrs old and I am 5'6 and 170 lbs

I have had several surgeries for my kidney stones and also nitroglycerin for my blood pressure-usually when i am passing a stone. I now have a loss of taste and smell and was wondering if this could be diabetes?
