My tonsils swell up and get lumpy ands then shrink back ...

My tonsils swell up and get lumpy ands then shrink back down,, over and over again, could this be caused by allergy??

It could be from allergy.

Our tonsils are lymph nodes and they will swell when ever there's a foreign body that the body thinks shouldn'd be there. It causes white blood cell production to increase, and lymph nodes swell because of it. It can be due to virus, infection, or allergy.
