Can the corpora cavernosa burst if strong pressure or injury were applied to the penis? If so, can it be fixed?Optional Information: Female , Age: 30Already Tried: nothing...I'm asking this question for a friend.
additional info..a male friend informed that blood came out from his penis while he was pleasuring himself. After that incident, his erection is not hard rock as it used to be. Could there be something wrong with him? Does he need to see a urologist?

Reply to Kerry's Post: If it can burst, can it repair itself? Will the person have sexual side affect from this..like not fully have erected penis? Does the person need to see the urologist for treatment?

I highly recommend seeing a urologist. Sometimes they can heal themselves, but I sure wouldn't take the chance. Getting treatment while the injury is newer gives the best possible outcome.
