Lumicell Touch a noninvasive subdermal (deep tissue) massage system combined with an infrared light for the purpose of reducing the appearance of cellulite.

It is available in spas and massage clinics who have the Lisenced Massage Therapists and the equiptment available.

Cellulite is a kind of fat tissue under the skin that contains constricting bands of connective tissue. This connective tissue, is laced with fat cells, and surrounded by fluids and toxins that are trapped deep in the skin. As the connective tissue thickens and hardens, a dimpling effect appears.

The theory is deep tissue massage softens fibrous tissues, improves blood flow to the area and encourages fluid and toxins traped in the cellulite pockets to drain.
The light is intended to stimulate cells to release trapped toxins, increase circulation and lymphatic system activity.

The recommended course is 13 treatments.

Single treatments run between $150-$175 with most spas offering package discounts that equal a discount of $45-$75 per treatment.

I could find no evidence that it was dangerous or painful. Most review said it was a pleasant massage, others said it was a pummelling.

There were hundreds of testimonoals and pictures showing improved appearance and claimimg inches lost but at least one person interviewed said her skin was softer and possibly smoother in appearance but her thigh circumferance remained the same.

Of the many treatments for cellulite the science behind this treatment is better than most

Hope this helps-good luck
