I have a cat that supposedly has asthma. Is there anything that can be done for him?

Response to ZooCVT's Post: This is what he thought he had. He xrayed from tail to nose trying to diagnose a horrible choking cough and he also checked blood and etc. He prescribed Temarel P which worked for about two weeks and then stopped. The cough doesn't seem to bother his appetite or his playfulness, but it certainly sounds painful.

Yes it can be asthma. You can possibly get an antihistmine from your vet to help with the coughing.  You may also want to let your cat know that the Temeril only worked while he was taking it. He may wants to put him on it for a longer period.

Good Luck!
