lower rightlung lobe was removed, which had cancer & went into the lymth nodes wich also was removed. i have to get chemo & radation as a precation. what type & strenth of chemo also i have stomach prolems will it affect ,my stomach if so is there anything i can take

Chemotherapy will have an impact on the lining of your intestines and also there is a high risk of nausea with some types of chemotherapy. However the doctors that deal with patients in your situation are used to dealing with these needs and will give you medication to prevent the nausea. You may need to have vitamin B12 or foliate supplements, and you will feel tired so do not plan to do anything too strenuous during your treatment.

The type of chemotherapy will depend on the type of cancer and hospital policy. They will know what drugs your cancer cells are most sensitive to and will start you off on those. After a few weeks, you will be assessed for response and there may be adjustments at that point.
