I HAD MY PROSTRATE REMOVED BUT CANCER HAD MATISTISED AND I HAVE HAD T RESORT TO RADIATION TO KILL IT ON BONES. THE RADIAION SEEMS TO CAUSE GROATH OF SCAR TISSUE AT THE CONNECTION OF URRITHA TO BLADDER . I HAVE HAD THIS REAMED OUT 4 TIMES AND WENT TO HOSPITAL AND HAD IT OPENED SURGILY. I WAS TOLD THAT THERE WAS A STINT THAT COULD BE INCERTED TO HOLD THIS OPEN. IS THIS A GOOD CHOICE? MY DR. SAID IT COULD GROW OVER THE ENDS OF STINT.WHAT DO YOU THINK WHAT MATERALS ARE THESE STINTS MADE OF? XXXXX@XXXXXX.XXX

ACCEPTED Check Mark

You are having retro peritoneal fibrosis due to radiation.

Stent is a good option and relieve your symptoms related to ureter obstruction.

These stent are made of inert substance and do not cause any reaction.

If radiation need to be continued please go ahead with the stent placement.

thanks
