i have a breast mass in my node;how serious is this?

i have a mass inmy node in my left breast.my doctor is wanting to cut it out.then hes going to biopsy them,i also have cysts in my right breast too.but he isnt too worried about that one yet.im trying to hold off as long as i can on the surgery,because ive heard from other people that once your opended up if its cancer it will spread.also i have a cyst on my overy too.ive been through quite a few ultra sounds and mammorgrams;this has been going on with me for over a year.please give me some advice on what i should do.i dont gotten any insureance;and ive tried getting insurence but they have all turned me down because of my health problems.im 42 years old.please help me;sherry
