Is cancer contagious in any way (any form)? I was just informed last night that a friend who I haven't seen in many years is terminally ill with cancer (which has spread throughout the body - i am unsure where in the body it originated). He has never seen my only child who is now only seven months old, and I would like to know if it would be safe to have my son visit him for a few minutes. And would it even be safe for my son to be on that ward with other cancer patients, or other sick people?
