All I know is that the nogels are small. They are in both lungs. The doctors keep on saying that they have to find where it is coming from. That is all I know. I hope this can help you.

There are two different types of cancer in the lungs if it begins in the lungs. And they are classified into two groups, small cell lung cancer and non-small cell lung cancer. This is depending by how the cells look under a microscope.

Small cell lung cancer is less common but grows faster and is likely to spread to other areas of the body. With non-small cell lung cancer it is more common and spreads slower. They classify small cell lung cancer into three groups and are named for the areas in which the cancer develops. There is large cell carcinoma, squamous cell cancer, and adenocarcinoma.

I am going to include a link below that I feel will be very helpful to you in learning about cancer and the different types of lung cancer and if you have any further questions please let me know, but this is one of the best sources for research on Lung cancer.
