my father has reoccuring gall bladder cancer and has spread ...

my father has reoccuring gall bladder cancer and has spread to the liver.he also has drainage tubes in to drain his bile.went thru 6 weeks of radiation and chemo.is about to start pretty agressive chemo again.is this type of cancer currable.if not what can we exspect to happen.
