Sent to Health Experts August 20, 2006 2:43 a.m.

Our son (2 1/2 years) has unilateral Cryptorchidism (undescended
testes). Using ultrasound the "missing" testes could not be detected.
The doctors recommended a surgery (orchiopexy).
: Should orchiopexy be done? Are there
any other ways of treatment? What could be risks or side effects of
this surgery?
