I am a 66 yr old male. 2003 I had cancer of the neck, lung & esphugus. With radiation & chemo I am cancer free. That is a little of my medical history. My question is I can not ejectulate. Everything else is okay except that. Could you give me some advice. I'm not having any bladder or postate problems that I'm awear of. I would appreciate some advice.
Thank You

Hi--it appears Dr. Gupta is away, so JA Admin has allowed me to answer you.

What you have is called:

Male Erectile Dysfunction [MED].

Here's a helpful link, which lists the potential causes:

http://www.urologychannel.com/erectiledysfunction/

Most common causes:

  • Vascular dz
  • Diabetes
  • Hormonal deficiency
  • Radiation tx
  • Chemotx
  • Psychogenic

In your case, residual effects from the rad tx & chemo are likely to be factors. You shoud also see a doctor to get tested for: Diabetes; and Testosterone deficiency; both can be treated.

Finally--you are a great candidate for treatment with: Viagra; Levitra; or Cialis. Any one of these 3 prescription meds should enable you to achieve FULL erection during sex, until orgasm is achieved. Pls talk to your MD about getting an RX for this, if he feels you are a safe candidate.

Good luck.

I DO hope you found my Answer to be helpful regarding your medical condition. IF SO-please hit **ACCEPT** as you read this Answer. THANKS for your trust!
