I am a 36 year old male and recently I have been experiencing cramping under my left rib cage. I am very paranoid about getting
cancer. Should I have this checked out by my doctor? How worried should I be about colon cancer at my age?? Thanks Jon Schultz

Hello,

Yes, you should have this checked to rule out, gastritis, spleen problems, pancreatitis, radiculitis, lower lobe pneumonia etc.

You should not worry for colon cancer at this age unless you have a family history of colon cancer .In that case screening start at age 40 instead of 50.
