Does a blood desease usually mean a type of cancer?

I had a tect that they measure how long the bleed time is and it was 17 min

Already Tried:
I gave my dr. all my symtoms and she is testing my blood and adult hodgkins desese a had other blood work done but when I had the timed blood test done today they said the longest it took anyone was 20 min. to clot or to stop bleeding and mine was 17 minutes that seems pretty long. also I am covered with massive bruses for no reason.

That doesn't necessarily mean cancer. It just means there is something interfering with platelet function. That can be aspirin or anti-inflammatory medications like Advil or Aleve. There are other medications as well that can prolong the bleeding time. There may be some other non cancerous underlying disorder like von Willebrand disease that also cause prolonged bleeding time. There could be low platelet count due to medications that could prolong the bleeding time. If you have thrombocytopenia (low platelet count), the cause needs to be evaluated. There are things other than cancer that can cause it. I hope this was helpful.
