Are there any known medically documented cases of colon cancer directly caused as a result of Dioxin exposure (commonly known as Agent Orange from the Viet Nam era). If so where can I get that documentation?

1racefool,

Here is a long article of studies that were done which involves many different types of cancers, including colon cancer.

Reply to Nurse Annie's Post: No, this doesn't help. We already knew about these studies. Do you have anything else that specifically links colon/rectal cancer to Agent Orange or other chemical exposure? That is the specific need I have. Thanks. Russ

Let me restate the question:
Are there any known medically documented cases of colon cancer directly caused by exposure to dioxin (Agent Orange)..etc.

I don't want any confusion or discontent from this request. I simply am saying that your answer did not provide what I needed. Your article stated what I have already been told that there is no connection. I had an APR when I was only 32 years old. Maybe I have been told that this is rare in error.

If you are saying that you have documentation regarding these "parients who had been exposed to dioxin have indeed developed colon cancer" THAT is the documentation I need. I was only 32 years old with fully developed malignant polyps only 13 years after serving two tours in Viet Nam where I was exposed to Agent Orange! I would bet that none of the "NOT at a rate higher than people who have never been exposed" were not as young as I was. Nevertheless, I NEED the documentation as I stated in my original question/request.

OK, I won't waste any more of your time. I still believe there is documentation out there somewhere and will continue to keep my question open until I get the answer/documentation I originally asked for.

I read the entire www.dioxinspin.com link you sent me and did not find the needed link between colon/rectal cancer and dioxin exposure other than the mention of "rare cancers," whatever he meant by that. Did I miss it somewhere in the articles? If so, please redirect me. If not, do you have any other possibilities?

I read both of these and did not find the documentation I need. Again, if you found documented cases or one case that specifically says there is a connection between colon or rectal cancer or cancer of the intestines, please give me the page number and once I can see that you have given me the documentation I have asked for I will reward your time with the Acception amount and a bonus amount.
