Greetings.

The fluid origin is likely to be gastroesophageal secretions and juices. It is usually not the cause of death, but because of normal reflexes, not playing or working properly, the fluid is regurgitated back.

Hello,

Regurgitation and aspiration (choking or blockage of airways) is one of the possibility, by the description you have given. The fluid has come from the stomach (gastric contents and gastric juices), and it can be projectile by vagus nerve stimulation.

Please feel free, if you have further queries.
