Hello, I have been having chest pain and shortness of breathe lately. I went to the ER 7 times with this problem. I had the EKG's chest x-rays, a PFT, echocardiogram and a chest CT scan. All came back normal. I am really worried about this because I am scared that it is my heart.I was told that it could be anxiety disorder, but I don't think it would feel like this. I took Ativan around 8:30 this morning but it isn't helping. What else can this be?

It feels like it is my heart. I have chest pain and then I feel short of breath and dizzy. Are these symptoms of anxiety? Can you anxiety everyday with these symptoms?

Are chest pains seen with anxiety? I also have a headache where my temples are. Should I ask my doctor about seeing a therapist or can I call on my own?

I would like to make an appointment asap. I don't want to feel like this anymore. I just don't know too much about anxiety and I just can't believe that it can make you feel so bad. It just worried me more because the actor Heath Ledger just died at 28 and now they are believing that he had a heart attack and that it had nothing to do with an overdose of drugs.

I just made an appointment. Hopefully this helps me out. Is it harmful to be on Ativan everyday? I heard it was addictive but will it harm me?
