i have been having chest pain since the middle of the night ...

i have been having chest pain since the middle of the night it started between my breasts and has moved up to the center right side of my chest. I do have some shortness of breath and at times my heart feels like it is racing. when i take a deep breath the pain worsens. i'm not sure if it caused by my asthama or if it's something else. i have taken a couple of breathing treatments but it has not helped any with the chest pain. i was thinking about calling my doctor but it is too late in the eveninig and they are closed. should i be concerned about this or not.
