I am a 22 year old male. I began having chest pain 1 month earlier. I went to the ER and my ECG and chest xrays were fine. I may have been poisoned by prescription heart medication for a number of months now and I am worried that my heart has been permanently damaged and that is what is causing chest pain. Would an ECG be able to rule out poisoning in this manner? In other words if my ECG was fine could I be sure that I wasn't poisoned and that I don't have any permanent heart damage?
