Having chest pain in the middle of my chest, and it hurts almost every time I breathe hard any tips?

You may have pleuritis. That is inflammation of the outer lining of the lung. Usually it appears as a result of some lung disese such as pneumonia or bronchitis . Another possibility is the inflammation of the outer lining of the heart (Pericarditis). I suggest to you to go to an Emergency room. In the mean time you can take Advil tablet.

Reply to V. Yetimyan   M.D.'s Post: it doesn't feel like I'm having a heart attack or anything, when I breathe heavy I feel it the most. I've been under some stress lately, plus I'm also diabetic. Type 1, insulin dependent.
