I am experiencing transient chest pain that feels like heart burn. Breathing and pulse normal. I do have a heart murmur and am being treated for this fairly long-standing condition (8 years). Could this pain, which came on during the night and persists, be associated with my heart?     Mary Abney

From how many days you have these symptoms?

Do you have difficulty in breathing on exertion?

Was the pain localised or radiated ?

Any sweating?

What is your blood pressure?

Are you emotionally disturbed?

Are you overweight?

1) Symptoms began about 8 hours ago.
2)No difficulty breathing, exertion.
3) Localized.
4)No sweating.
5. Blood pressure: don't know. Usually low.
6. No emotional upset.
7. I am 5'8" and weigh 135 lbs.

Have you Acid reflux-Acidity?

Did the pain got relieved after taking Antacids?
