I have asked two different doctors that i have used and they take lab work and tell me that they don't know what it is.One doctor said muscle spazm. It is not a muscle pain. The first doctor i used was 8 years ago, and then I was running five miles a day and was in good shape. I recently started eating better and i have lost weight. I am still having the pains. It doesn't feel like a muscle pain it feels like a nerve or vein maybe flaring.

I recently went to the hospital about 5 months ago because i was having soreness in my pectoral muscle, It scared me a little so I went to the Emergency room, there they checked my blood pressure and hooked me to a monitor. They injected me with iodine and put me in a machine. I guess that was a MRI. They also did a stress test and took a sonogram of my heart. They said everything was fine. They also took x-rays of my chest. They did say that it could be acid reflux but i don't have any heartburn or any more pectoral pain, so I didn't take the medicine. I have been going to a weight control doctor and I have lost 37 lbs. and they check my blood pressure and said it is great. I think it was 127 over 70.

Hi,

From your history the cardiac cause of pain is already ruled out by your doctors .

As such two other possibilities are there .

1) GERD

2) Cervical radiculopathy .

As such you may get your Cervical spine investigated further by X -Ray/MRI

When I was in highschool I played football and I injured nerves in my neck. Every now and then I'll reach wrong and I will feel nerves pinching and it will burn. What is cervical radiculopathy and what would be the cause?

I don't have any back problems or any problems with physical activity. These pains that I have been having make me gasp for air. They start off lightly so I can tell when they are coming. I also are wakened at might gasping and i notice when I take deep breaths they go away. I was reading and is it possible that Angina can be the cause.
