THE PAIN IS ALMOST ALWAYS IN MY UPPER CHEST AREA TOWARDS MY LEFT BREAST. ABOUT TWO INCHEST UP FROM MY LEFT NIPPLE AND TWO INCHES TOWARD THE MIDDLE. I NEVER GET THE PAIN UPON EXERCTION, I HAVE BEEN FEELING THIS PAIN FOR ALMOST OVER A YEAR NOW. IT WILL BE CONSTANT FOR A FEW DAYS THEN GO AWAY THEN COME BACK ON AND OFF FOR SOME DAYS. ITS LIKE A PULLED MUSCLE TYPE OF FEELING, OR SOMETIMES IT IS LIKE A STINGING PAIN.      THEY SAY ITS PROB REFLUX BUT I HAVE NOT YET HAD A DEFINITE ANSWER FROM MY DR'S. WHEN I HAVE IT, IT NEVER LASTS FOR MORE THAN A MINUTE AT A TIME. BUT IT WILL BE ON AND OFF ALL DAY

Hello,

Heart pain can also come at rest. It is called unstable angina. It is worse than the heart pain that you are going to get on exertion which is also called stable angina.

I suggest to you to see another cardiologist as a second opinion so nothing is missed.
