have had 2 heart attacks,2 stents,1angio seal,suffer type 2 diabetes,hypertension,am on metropolol,lisinopril,plavix,metformin,glipizide,have had ringing in ears and achy back,sharp shooting pains occasionally in chest,dry lips,used to smoke heavy now a few a day quitting with patch,6 ft,277 lbs, lousy insurance,feel terrible

Hi,

Your chest pain can be due to ischaemic heart disease with a history of coronary artery blockage .Probably you should be regular in your follow up to your cardiologist .

Also back pain can be due to herniated disc especially since you are over weight .You need an X-ray /MRI of the lower back and further physiotherapy etc to help in pain management .

Ringing in ears is called as tinnitus in medical language and causes can range from ear infection, wax in ears , anxiety , depression, various drugs .
