what does this mean pa and lateral views of the chest demonsrate the lungs to be clear of active infiltrates. The cardiac silhouette measures borderline in size,ctr of 15.6/31.3. The sternal contour is incidentally noted to be convex anteriorly in this patricular pateint. Impression: Borderline cardiac size.

Basically, this is a rather normal chest x-ray with the size of the heart at the borderline in size (enlarged) - suggesting some possible heart problem.

Without additional tests this is a VERY non-specific finding and more information or tests would be needed to determine the actual significance of this finding.

should further test be taken if I am in chest pain everyday. Also have emphysema or start of it about 2 inches of my lungs. and am diabetic at age of 30
